Freedom From the Power of Greed | Pastor Ben Dixon
Sunday Aug 03, 2025
Sunday Aug 03, 2025
We live in a world that constantly tells us we need MORE to be happy, important, and secure. But Jesus offers us a radically different way to live. In Luke chapter 12, He warns us about the deceptive and destructive power of greed—a condition of the heart that enslaves us to our stuff and separates us from what truly matters. In our message today, we will confront the lies we often believe about money and possessions and embrace the practices that lead to freedom, generosity, and a life that is rich toward God.

Rekindle Your Flame | Pastor Ben Dixon
Sunday Jul 27, 2025
Sunday Jul 27, 2025
We have all experienced times in our life when the fire of our faith begins to fade—whether through discouragement, distraction, or simply the ups and downs of life. In 2 Timothy 1:6–7, the Apostle Paul urges Timothy to reject spiritual passivity and fan into flame a fresh passion for the gifts and calling that God had given him. Through this passage, we are challenged to rekindle our spiritual passion, to reject fear, and to embrace the work and power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We are expecting God to stir up a fresh fire in our hearts again!

God Owns It - We Manage It | Pastor Ben Dixon
Sunday Jul 13, 2025
Sunday Jul 13, 2025
Everything we have—our money, time, talents, and even our testimony—ultimately belongs to God. He is the owner; we are the managers. In the parable of the talents, Jesus teaches us a powerful truth: God entrusts each of us with resources, not to bury or waste, but to steward wisely and faithfully. Stewardship isn’t just about money—it’s about how we manage everything God has placed in our hands. And one day, we will each give an account for how we lived, invested, and served. The way we steward what God has given us doesn’t just impact today—it carries eternal significance. Stewardship is not just a financial principle; it’s a spiritual responsibility.

How Does God View Money? | Pastor Ben Dixon
Sunday Jul 06, 2025
Sunday Jul 06, 2025
The Bible talks about money a lot. I bet that many of us don’t realize that more than 2300 verses in the Bible
discuss money and at least 12 of Jesus’ parables deal with money directly or indirectly. Money is more than
a form of currency we exchange for goods and services. It has the power to do great harm or bring about
great good. This is why we can often feel uncomfortable talking about it because it gets to something much
deeper inside all of us. As we launch our series called “Jesus, Money and Stuff” we want to ask the question,
“How does God view money?”

We live in a world that tells us we need more, and we need to be more. So what does true spiritual contentment look like for people who love God and trust Him no matter what? In Paul’s final words to the church in Philippi he talks about how God taught Him to be content in every circumstance which remains as a powerful example for us today!

Right Thinking for Righteous Living | Pastor Ben Dixon
Sunday Jun 15, 2025
Sunday Jun 15, 2025
The Apostle Paul has given several practical steps for dealing with anxiety. He taught them to identify anxious thoughts, pray specifically and receive God’s peace which has the power to guard from future inner turmoil. In our passage today, Paul furthers the conversation by giving some final pieces of advice for how to exchange our anxiety for His peace. We must take control of our thoughts and put into practice what we have learned from Scripture and godly people. These two principles of wisdom have the power to keep us in the peace of God as life continues to unfold.

The Baptism with the Holy Spirit | Pastor Ben Dixon
Sunday Jun 08, 2025
Sunday Jun 08, 2025
This weekend, Christians commemorate the historical event when God poured out His Holy Spirit upon the first 120 believers as referenced in Acts chapter 2. This was the catalyst that truly changed the world as men and women, filled with God’s Spirit, were sent out as witnesses of Jesus Christ. Today, as we gather together, we are pausing to discuss and pray for the baptism with the Holy Spirit in our generation. We need the power of the Holy Spirit to lead and launch us into all that God has called us to do!

God Is Faithful | Pastor Ben Dixon
Sunday Jun 01, 2025
Sunday Jun 01, 2025
God doesn’t change. His words are true. He is completely and totally reliable in every way. While everything else around us changes, there is Someone who does not change. He does not lie, and we can build our lives on His Word, His plan, and His promises. It’s a sure deal! The writer of Hebrews said it this way, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever,” (Heb 13:8).
This means that GOD is faithful! We can trust Him. What He says is true. What He said He will do, we know He will do. Moses spoke of how God was faithful to bring Israel through to the Promised Land (Dt 7). David said that the faithfulness of God “reaches to the skies,” (Ps 36:5). The prophets Isaiah and Jeremiah both spoke of how faithful God was to them and the nation of Israel. And in our text today, we’ll read several times where the Apostle Paul spoke of how faithful God was in it all and through it all.

Exchange Your Anxiety for His Peace | Pastor Ben Dixon
Sunday May 25, 2025
Sunday May 25, 2025
Several modern statistics reveal that this could be the most anxious generation to ever exist. There are many reasons for why this may be the case, but we need to know that worry and anxiety are not just a modern struggle. In fact, Jesus speaks about worry, anxiety and peace many times and so do the other writers of the New Testament. All of this points to a very important truth: our mental health matters. Worry and anxiety have lots of contributing factors which we need to understand, but more than that, we need to understand the promise of Scripture that God will give us His peace in exchange for our anxiety. How do we make that exchange? Well, that is what the Apostle Paul talks about in our passage today!

Pressing in for Prodigals | Pastor Ben Dixon
Sunday May 18, 2025
Sunday May 18, 2025
Everyone has friends and family members who either walked away from Jesus or never fully surrendered their heart to Him even though they had opportunities to do so. This reality is heart wrenching and difficult for all of us, and I am sure that we would do anything we could to see our loved ones come back to Jesus. In our passage today, we can clearly see the heart of Christ to bring all people to Himself no matter where they come from or what they have done. As a church, we are taking a stand together to pursue our prodigals until all have returned to Christ!
